I took this image for my Editorial class. You are teamed up with a designer and by the end of the quarter the class creates a magazine of about 100 pages. The end result always looks impressive, and I decided to run for photo editor. We have a lot of strong personalities on staff, so the meetings have been…passionate. I tend to be pretty opinionated but this doesn’t seem like the kind of project where I am going to fight off anyone’s ego.

The images here are from a test shoot. I havent shot for the final yet. I realize they’re mediocre but I think the experience was useful. I usually execute my own ideas and let them change as it comes. In this situation I had very little control and the concept was not my own. It was frustrating, but that is how it is when you are given a job, so I’m trying to learn from it. The title of the article is actually on his jacket, clever right? My partners idea.
