Remembering

Whew I’m back. You know..just bummin’ it around New Jersey. Working. Life’s been kicking me around a bit but I’m making some changes to adjust. I just got back from a week up in Rochester. I was there mostly for work but I decided to take a day for myself on Thursday and process some film and do some lambda prints (oh..say…$200 worth). God I miss prints. It’s not healthy to take pictures and never get to hold them in your hands. So I printed all the images I liked from my mini-road trip last summer, all 8″x12″. A few various images from my series on Rhode Island, 10″x10″ and two images 20″x20″. I’m really happy with the way they came out but I’m pretty unsure what to do with them. I think I want to frame the larger images.

I also really missed upstate New York…weird.

Anyway, back in…April I think, I had my Yashica stolen at a work event and it really bummed me out. I was really attached to that camera. I finally was able to get a replacement. I love it. I love having a camera that I can just slip into my back pocket. I took a good number of pictures while I was up in Rochester. While it will be tough for me to give up my Hasselblads, I think I’m going to finally sell them. I want to move to 6×7. I’m pretty much done with square for now. So I have a few more rolls to process. Some medium format to scan and that’s that! Here’s a few images for now.

Some prints laid out.

Where I took most of those pictures
