Your landscape work is definitely improving. The three images that really stand out to me among this grouping is the first image, the image of the man on the mower (is really freaking awesome), and the tree in the corner. Keep it up!

I didn’t notice that tire in the first image until you uploaded this online. I like the tire very much. How come these images look so weird online? They look all blown out on my screens David, I was just wondering because they looked really nice in crit.

I think its good that you want to explore all possibilities with this work, but I think you may be selling yourself short. These photographs do evoke emotion, however subtly, which i think is a good thing. Your critique of our landscape is somewhat quiet. I find myself enjoying these photographs much more because of that. However, I do think you may be limiting this work. Your vision seems to be too narrow photographically at this point in the project. You seem to have already recognized this though which is a good step.

I think it’s always good to question, David. It can drive me crazy sometimes, but I feel like I learn a lot when I change things up or question what and why I am doing certain things.
